How to Use Dr. Whiten nHAp Toothpaste for Best Enamel-Repair Results

Using Dr. Whiten 7.5% nHAp Toothpaste is simple—no special tools, no complicated steps, just a few small habits to maximize enamel repair, soothe sensitivity, and get the best results. Whether you’re new to nHAp or looking to make the most of your daily oral care routine, here’s how to use our toothpaste for optimal results.

First, the basics: brush twice a day, morning and night, for 2 minutes each time. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush—hard bristles can damage enamel, even with a gentle toothpaste like ours. Squeeze a pea-sized amount of toothpaste onto your brush (a little goes a long way!) and brush in gentle, circular motions, focusing on all surfaces of your teeth and along the gum line. Avoid brushing too hard—gentle pressure is enough to clean effectively without causing damage.

For sensitivity relief: If you struggle with sensitive teeth, we recommend using our toothpaste consistently for 7–14 days. nHAp works gradually to repair enamel and soothe nerves, so you’ll start to notice less sensitivity to cold, hot, and sweet foods within the first couple of weeks. For best results, avoid extremely hot or cold foods and drinks immediately after brushing—this gives the nHAp time to settle and work on your enamel.

For enamel repair: Enamel repair is a long-term process, so consistency is key. Use our toothpaste daily, and you’ll notice stronger, smoother teeth over time. Unlike quick-fix whitening products that damage enamel, our nHAp toothpaste builds up your enamel with each use, making your teeth more resistant to stains, sensitivity, and damage.

A few extra tips: Rinse gently after brushing—don’t over-rinse, as this can wash away the nHAp before it has a chance to work. For even better results, pair our toothpaste with a fluoride-free mouthwash (coming soon from Dr. Whiten!) to extend the benefits of nHAp throughout the day. And remember: our toothpaste is safe to swallow, so it’s perfect for kids who are still learning to spit.
